CBBC are looking for a young talented actor/actress to play the youngest child in a musical step-family. The main role is a cheeky, clever and lovable character. BSL is essential and must be the actor's native or second language.

The family will comprise of a white British dad and an African American mum. The character has four older siblings to contend with, so needs to be sparky and energetic!

The new series is called My Almost Famous Family and the premise is that the family has won a talent show which means they are now the house band for a TV show. The comedy drama charts family life and has positive messages about hard work bringing reward and working as a team. Signing will be integral to the show as it is obviously how the family communicate with each other.

Filming will take place from March for 13 weeks and there will of course be a tutor on set who will liaise with the school the actor/actress attends.
