Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from everyone at the DeafBlog! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you enjoyed celebrating the end of 2008.

As we begin a new year, we'd be interested in knowing what you considered to be the most important or ground-breaking issue facing deaf people in 2008. Perhaps the introduction of text messaging services by the police, new online deaf resources, the development of a new pill that can reverse loss of hearing, or even Joanna Holmes being crowned Miss Deaf UK?

Do let us know! Also, we've recently set up a MySpace page as an accompaniment to the Blog, which you can find here. Please add us as a friend if you're already there!

If you're more into Facebook, we have a group there, which you can find here.

These groups/pages enable readers to track new stories and tell others about their favourite blogs.

So here's to a prosperous 2009. Download your free year planner or diary calendar here.
