Internet dating for deaf friends and singles
We recently discovered new dating site deafs.com which has been developed specifically to help deaf and hearing impaired men and women meet other singles. (We talked about that here).
Since then we've come across another one called Enabled Already which is aimed at 'all variously disabled people' and its members include the deaf and HoH. It's free to join, although there are costs involved when contacting other members, and it covers the whole of the UK and Ireland.
If you need a bit more convincing, check out its testimonial page here.
Deafs.com however, claims to be the first, most effective and largest dating site in the world for deaf, ASL and hearing-impaired singles, so it might be the better bet.
Others we're aware of are Deaf Date, which has the strapline of 'helping the deaf community find love', Disabled World and Deaf Singles Connection.
Elsewhere, Match.com continues to rule as the world's biggest online dating site. You can get a week's free trial here.
We'd be interested to hear your thoughts if you've given any of these a go.
