Celeb voices we love and hate to hear
Reality TV star Jade Goody has been named the celebrity with the worst sounding voice according to a poll.
The Bermondsey lass's not so dulcet tones got her into hot water on Big Brother last year and now the British public have slammed her voice for being loud and irritating.
And many Brits believe Wayne Rooney should let his feet do the talking, polling the Manchester United striker in second place.
He was closely followed by writer and broadcaster Janet Street-Porter.
The survey of 4,000 Brits, carried out to celebrate Deaf Awareness Week, was designed to reveal the celebrity voices we love and hate to hear.
Celebrity voices we love include Arsenal captain Thierry Henry, who was voted number one. The 29 year-old’s sexy French accent has secured him millions in advertising deals and made him the Premiership’s eighth richest player.
Bond actor Sean Connery was runner-up for favourite voices, thanks to his deep Scottish twang. The public also considered Ab-Fab star Joanna Lumley’s voice to be easy on the ear, voting her into third place.
The poll also revealed that a staggering 69 per cent of British adults have never had a hearing test, compared to a mere eight per cent who have never checked their eyesight.
Almost nine million people in the UK suffer from some degree of hearing loss but only around two million do something about it.

My Wife would certainly agree with that list. She has to turn the TV over if Janet Street Porter comes on.
How Joe Pasquale didn't make it onto the worst list is beyond me. Chris Eubank though, is a clear winner - he *must* put that voice on, it's not natural.
