Val Blakely launches 'I'm All Ears'

I'm all ears.jpg Here 2 Hear Publications has announced its release of I'm All Ears, a new book written for parents of children with special needs, especially hearing loss, and for those who teach them on their journey to say "I'm All Ears".

The authors, Val Blakely (mum to two deaf children) and Tamara Harrison (peech-language pathologist and early interventionist), give a detailed account of the long but eventful road traveled by the Blakelys, from deafness to new found hearing, when both of her children received cochlear implants.

You'll read how a mother became a dedicated advocate for her children and discover how she balanced an auditory-based lifestyle with homelife.

You can read more about the family in her diary, here and in the family's blog here
