Disability and deaf arts were given a huge boost in Liverpool last week with an exciting festival.

Performers from around the world descended on the city last week for DaDaFest International 2008.

The four-day festival was organised by North West Disability Arts Forum (NWDAF), which works to facilitate and promote the participation of disabled people in the arts and cultural sectors.

Garry Robson, Artistic Director, said: “DaDaFest hoped to bring to the heart of Liverpool, the best and brightest of cutting-edge deaf and disability arts. There really was something for everyone.”
