New Branch Hearing dogs for Deaf People

The charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf people, has opened a new branch in Tees Valley.

The charity trains dogs to recognise and alert their deaf owners to everyday sounds that hearing people take for granted, as well as learning to alert their owners to danger sounds so that the deaf person can take evasive action.

The new Tees Valley Branch is holding an open meeting to celebrate its launch and raise awareness of the charity’s work. For more information you can visit their website.
