Jane Shaw, who has fulfilled almost every role in the West Sussex Deaf and Hard of Hearing Association over the past 11 years, has been appointed general manager at the organisation's annual meeting.

Jane's comprehensive understanding of all types of hearing loss springs from her personal experience of growing up as a hearing person, being suddenly deafened, and now using a cochlear implant to access sounds again.
