Pooling resources for NDCS

At 7pm this evening, international pool professional and former world champion Carl Morris will be playing a charity pool exhibition in the Crazy Horse Saloon at Butlins in Minehead.

As part of a tournament set to continue all weekend, cochlear implanted Carl will play against all on-comers to raise vital funds for the National Deaf Children's Association (NDCS).The money raised at the pool exhibition will contribute to Carl's sponsorship as he prepares to take on a gruelling trek to the North Police in April 2008.

Not only has he pledged to raise £27,000 for NDCS, but by completing the trek he will become the first deaf person ever to reach the North Pole.
