Mossley teacher runs for NDCS

Andy Fenton, a science teacher at Mossley Hollins School in Huddersfield, is running the Great North Run on Sunday 30th September in aid of the National Deaf Children's Society.

Andy's three-year-old son Keir was born profoundly deaf and the NDCS provided invaluable support and information to Andy and his wife Jayne during Keir's early years.

Andy said: "I am not relishing the thought of the pain I will inevitably feel but training is going well. It will be worth it to raise the money so that the NDCS can provide the same kind of support for other deaf children and their families as they did for us when Keir was diagnosed".
