Young joker raises funds for Shropshire Deaf Children's Society

Sunil Bhakar, a Year 5 pupil from Telford in Shropshire, has written and produced a joke book which he is selling at 10p a copy, with all proceeds going to the Shropshire Deaf Children’s Society.

The youngster, who lives in Trench, said: “I decided to write a joke book in aid of charity because I wanted to make people laugh, but I also wanted to raise money for Shropshire Deaf Children’s Charity as I am profoundly deaf myself."
