Strathclyde needs you!

The Strathclyde Police are looking for a deaf or hearing impaired individual to assist their work as a Community Advisor.

Community Advisors are public volunteers who periodically advise the police on issues such as religion, faith, culture, gypsy and travellers, disability, and LGBT. At the moment, the Strathclyde Police we do not have anyone who is deaf/hearing impaired, and are really keen to get people involved. They would also be happy to have people who are not deaf/hearing impaired themselves, but work for deaf related organisations and so understand the issues involved.

If you know of anybody who might be interested, or wish to have more information, please contact Dean Pennington on 0141 532 6806 or email : Dean.Pennington@strathclyde.pnn.police.uk
