On Monday, Radio 4 broadcast a programme about deaf people who find themselves stuck in a limbo between the hearing world and the Deaf world.

The half hour programme touched on the conflicting views surrounding the education of deaf children and explored communication problems between hearing parents and their deaf children, as well as the divisions that exist within the adult Deaf community.
