Jeff Rich, the drummer with the 1980s rock band Status Quo, is interviewed in today's Independent.

Talking about his hearing loss and praising the digital hearing aid that he had aid fitted 18 months ago, he says: "It's incredible. As a musician, my hearing is most important to me. You can only work with what you have, but I am making the best of it. I am a happy man."
