Deaf twins first hearing Christmas

Three-year-old identical twins Curtis and Reece Flanagan from Northern Ireland were born deaf but in August they both had cochlear implants fitted.

The boys' implants were switched on three months ago and they have already started speaking - 'Santa' and 'Christmas tree' are two of their favourite new words.
