The British Deaf Association is running its annual Learn to Sign Week from 2nd-9th October 2006.

The Scottish Deaf Association will also hold an event at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall on October 7 and some 2000 children in Scotland will learn one phrase of British Sign Language (BSL) each day this week to help build links between the hearing and deaf communities and raise awareness of BSL.
