Equality training in Glasgow
The Scottish Deaf Association is delivering a series of Deaf Equality Training days in Glasgow and Inverness to help businesses better understand employees with hearing difficulties.
All public bodies and private organisations which carry out public duties must produce a plan by December to explain what steps will be taken to ensure deaf-disabled people are treated with equality. To help with planning, the association's training will outline some of the key issues and opportunities available to allow employers to meet their obligations to provide equality in their services.
The Scottish Deaf Association (SDA) is the working name for the British Deaf Association's branches in Scotland.
