Golf-mad dad raises £7,500 for deaf charity

Kevin Green has completed an entire Open Championship in just one day to raise money for the Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People.

Starting at 5am, Kevin and three of his colleagues from EuroDirect played 72 holes non-stop before finishing at 7.45pm.

Kevin's inspiration came from his two-year-old daughter Georgia, who was born profoundly deaf and had a cochlear implant fitted. Kevin says: "As a family we have had invaluable support from Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People who do a tremendous job. This is our way of saying thank you for the support they have given us."

Kevin can be sponsored at www.Bmycharity.com/golfchallenge.
