Father Cyril Axelrod is the world's only deaf and blind priest. The South African was born deaf and later lost his sight as a result of a genetic condition called Usher Syndrome.

The charismatic priest, who speaks 15 languages, and now has a ministry at Westminster Cathedral, has been promoting disability rights in Scotland as part of Deafblind awareness week.
