A tiny Yorkshire terrier hase been named Heroic Hearing Dog of the Year after he alerted his owner to the pain of her young daughter.

National charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, has honoured hearing dog Fraser after he alerted owner Dawn Munslow that four-year-old Emily had collapsed in pain and was crying in a nearby room.

Even though he has been with Dawn for just four and a half months, Fraser's caring nature, initiative and training proved just how invaluable he is to the whole family.
