Who frontman deafened by rock
Roger Daltrey, former frontman of The Who has revealed that a lifetime of high-decibel rock has left him virtually deaf.
The 62-year-old says his hearing is now so frail that he only plays mellow music, mostly classical, at home. "I haven't got much hearing left and what I have I want to keep, " he said.
Despite his hearing loss, the singer is returning to the stage on tour with the only other surviving Who member Pete Townshend.
