A race to beat deafness

Hampshire woman Judith Cooper is planning to run the London Marathon this April to raise money for two deaf charities. Judith was inspired by a family friend whose daughter, Chloe, was born profoundly deaf.

Chloe, aged two, received a cochlear implant in November and her mum Claire Joyce says the family has had fantastic support from the RNID and voluntary organisation the Elizabeth Foundation. Learn more about the Elizabeth Foundation here.

Judith is aiming to raise £2,000 to help the charities in the work they do for deaf children and their families. Visit www.justgiving.com/judith-chloe for more details or to donate.
